Smoke Alarm BRK Model FG250B Teardown

The FG250B is one of BRK's most economical Ionization Smoke Alarms. It can be found for under $6. The FG225 is the same as FG250B but without the silience feature. You cannot find the FG225 on Amazon or eBay so does it really exist. The FG200 is the same as the FG250B but with the blinking power-on LED. Some people might not want the blinking LED at night

Llimitations:

(2) It is a single station alarm; it cannot be interconnected to other BRK smoke alarms so if one alarms, they all alarm.

(1) It is powered by a 9-volt transistor battery; it cannot be connected to 120 volts AC.
